Anith Manasae ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Cart Together mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

• Personal Data: While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). This includes:

  • First name and last name
  • Passwords (encrypted and used for authentication only)
• Grocery List Data: We collect and store the items and lists you create to synchronize them with your linked partner.

2. Service Providers (Third-Party Tools)

We employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, or to perform Service-related services. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf.

• Superwall: We use Superwall to manage our in-app subscriptions and payment paywalls. Superwall helps us process your purchase permissions.

3. Data Retention and Security

The security of your data is important to us. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data during transit and at rest. We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

4. Account and Data Deletion (Google Play Requirement)

We believe you should have full control over your data.

• In-App Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data (including your email, name, and grocery lists) at any time by going to the Settings menu within the Cart Together app and tapping the "Delete Account" button.
• Web Request Deletion: If you have already uninstalled the app and wish to have your data deleted, please email us at [email protected]. We will process your request and delete all your personal data from our servers within 7 business days.
